Your POV

I heard the sound of my parents talking faintly, and then car door slammed shut. Sounds like whatever they were previously doing didn't exactly work out. I said goodbye to my friend, and I hung up. I ran downstairs to go put the phone back, only to hear the sound of keys jingling. I put the phone on its hook and ran upstairs. I didn't know why they were home, but something told me that they weren't going to be in a good mood if I stuck around.

I listened to the sound of the door opening. I hoped that they weren't going to call for me. I could tell by their yelling at each other that they were the problem. I tried listening through the door, before watching it burst open.

"[Y/N]! You forgot to do the dishes!" my dad yelled. Yes, he was mad. I sighed.

"I'll go do them now.." I said.

"You'd better," he warned. "And make sure to put them away."

  "Yes, dad."

I walked downstairs, and went to start doing them. I then saw a rustle in the bushes. I shrugged it off, thinking that it was just the wind. I went back to cleaning the dishes, before watching the bushes rustle once more. Maybe the neighbor's cat got stuck there again. I put down the dishes and walked out of the kitchen door, hoping that my parents wouldn't notice my absence.

I walked slowly over to the bushes that rustled, softly calling the cat's name. It didn't respond. I got closer and tried to move the bushes so that I could get a better look. Maybe the cat was really stuck this time. I moved the bushes aside a bit more, and caught a glimpse of something moving. Suddenly a boy with a knife came out, and I nearly screamed.

He shook his head, and tried to calm me down.

Jack's POV

What do I do? She noticed me! What should I say? I panicked a bit, trying to calm her down. No doubt that she would have caught the attention of her parents, and then they would call the police! Either that, or they wouldn't care enough to even respond to it. Both of those scenarios were ones that I wanted to avoid. I panicked even more, and knew I wasn't ready to speak. I did the only thing I knew how to do.

I knocked her out. Hey, I panicked! I don't know how to deal with the girl of my dreams screaming! I sighed and picked her up. She looked so beautiful. I took her to the kitchen door, and set her down gently. I pounded on the door so that they just couldn't ignore it. I heard some shuffling. I looked down at [Y/N] and sighed, before running away. I didn't want her to take the heat for being seen with me, so I had to leave.

  Your parents' POV

As we walked out to the kitchen, we noticed that [Y/N] wasn't there. We suddenly got really worried, and we walked to the door. We noticed her unconscious. We picked her up and took her to the couch, where we sat at the edge. We waited for her to wake up. We wanted to know what had happened, because we were very worried.

--------------Timeskip!---------------

Your POV

I woke up to the sound of harsh whispering. Someone was obviously trying to keep me from waking up, but who? I noticed that I was laying in the living room. I sat up and groaned. My head hurt a lot. Why did my head hurt so much? And then the memories came flooding back. I had found some strange boy in the bushes while looking for the neighborhood cat, and he must have knocked me out. He looked just as scared as I was!

I was curious. Who was this boy, and what was he doing in the bushes at our house? I didn't get a good look at him, but I did notice what he was wearing to hide his face. That memory was strange to me; there were so many missing pieces. I suddenly heard someone saying my name. It was my mom. She didn't sound as harsh, but actually kind of... Worried. As I focused on how she sounded, I forgot to focus on what she was asking me. She asked again.

"[Y/N], honey.. What happened?" she asked.

  "Wh..What?"

"What happened to you? We found you laying in front of the kitchen door. Outside. Who did this to you? Are you okay?" they continued to pepper you with questions.

"I.. I'm fine! I had gone out because I thought there was a cat in the bushes. Turns out that there was a person! He looked surprised, and I think he.. Knocked me out," I said.

"Oh my God." my mom said. She looked worried. "Are you sure you're okay? No bumps, bruises, or damage?"

"Yes, mom." I assured her. My mom nodded and told me that I should try to go up to bed, and that she would come up in the morning to check on me. She seemed to nice now. It was as if they'd been replaced with wonderful parents.

--------------Timeskip to Monday (School day!)---------------

Jack's POV

I watched her. I had another idea on how to see her. I was anxious, and I hoped that I hadn't just ruined the small chance I had with her. I had asked Jeff what he did when he was in love with a girl, and he said that he didn't fall in love with girls. I that that I would have a hard time, so I asked Slenderman what to do. I didn't exactly have too much luck with him either. At least he supports me! Even though that's not the most helpful..

Her parents seemed to be softening up on her lately, and I noticed that she noticed that too. Lately her parents have been easing up on her, as if her passing out had changed their ways. Either way, I'm glad. She deserves to have parents who care for her, after all she does for them.

I smiled as I watched her say goodbye to her parents. That's the first time I've seen her interact openly with her parents before going to school. They all had a smile on their faces. It warmed my heart to watch [Y/N] smile sincerely at her parents. I watched her leave, and I walked behind her. I had gotten my backpack and I was going to put my plan into action today. Yes, I was going to use my plan to get to meet her.

I watched as she walked through the doors of the school. She still had the smile on her face, which I saw every day when she got to school. I followed her through the crowd of kids, and noticed that she was walking up to her friend. They were talking about what had happened to her, and how her parents suddenly seemed nicer after the incident. Then she walked off by herself to get to her locker, saying goodbye to her friend.

I followed her straight to her locker. She put her backpack into her locker, before turning to me. She took a moment to pause, before realizing who I was. She stared at me with wide eyes.

Your POV

I put my stuff away and turned to leave. I stood stiff as I noticed the person standing behind me. I wanted to scream, but I didn't. I stared at him, and he stared back. This was the first time I got a good look at the boy. He moved closer and I backed up as much as I could.

"[Y/N], please... I don't want to hurt you, I promise."

"Ho-how do you know my name?" I asked. And then I realized something.

"... Jack?" I asked slowly. I couldn't see his face, but I figured he was smiling.

"Yes, my love.. It's me!" he said. I could hear the joy in his voice. He reached forward, and I didn't know what to do. I didn't want him to hurt me, even though I was pretty sure he wouldn't.

"You.. Sent me those notes? The ones that I found in my locker?" I asked, almost not believing this was real. I had dreamed for many nights of this moment. The moment when I would finally get to meet my secret admirer named Jack. I remember all the times I'd cried because of his notes. Because I couldn't believe that anyone would love me like he claimed to. All those emotions came flooding back, all the memories of the notes..

Before I knew what I was even doing, I moved forward. I wrapped my arms around him in an attempt to calm myself down. This was a lot to take in. I could feel him tense up, but then he wrapped his arms around me in return. We stayed like this until I heard the bell. I was late to my first class, and I pulled away. I looked to him, wiping my eyes.

"I... I have to go now."

"Don't worry, [Y/N]. I'll see you later at a... Better time." he said. I nodded, biting my lip. With that, he walked off quickly. Reality kind of hit me, and I picked my stuff up again. I had to get to class.
