Jack's POV

I sure hoped that things would work out right. My face flushed at the thought of being able to possibly spend my life with my [Y/N]. I shook it off and remembered what was to happen first. Still, my thoughts drifted to her every once in awhile. Soon I saw [Y/N] wander into the room with Splendorman. She looked strangely happy to see me, as if she'd been looking for me. That made sense.

"Jack!" she exclaimed. I smiled sheepishly underneath my mask.

"Yes, hello!" I said. She walked up to me.

"I've been looking for you." she said. "This place is huge! I swear I was gonna get lost if it wasn't for Splendorman." she sighed. This caused Ben to grin. I looked up to Splendorman, and he just smiled and waved. I nodded. She sat down in the chair next to me.

"[Y/N]." Slenderman said. She looked up with a blank expression, her face seemingly wiped of all emotion.

"Uh, yeah?" she asked. She sounded unsure.

"I hear you're Jack's new... Partner." he said, probably for lack of a better word. I blushed a bit once more at the word. Something about the idea of her being partner made me joyous. She didn't seem to be fazed by any of this. Not the countless monsters, not the words spoken, not even who was speaking to her! It was as if none of this bothered her, like she'd been preparing for this single day for years and years.

She looked at me, silently asking me to help her. I nodded encouragingly.

"Yes, sir." she said, looking back at the tall man.

"Hm. Well then, I suppose you know about us all? You.. Do know what you're really getting yourself into, don't you?" Slenderman asked. He made the idea of being a part of Jack's life romantically a horrible thing.

"Brother! Don't scare her like that, she hasn't done anything!" Splendorman scolded. Slenderman ignored him.

"Things must be sorted out before the two of you can continue with this relationship." Slenderman said.

"Yes, sir." [Y/N] said. I smiled. She seemed just as confident as she would with her own friends.

"Very well then, come with me. We have something we need to.. Discuss." Those words scared me. It was as if he was now staring at everyone else in the room. Even so, she nodded. We all watched her stand from her chair, walking in the same direction that Slenderman was going. They both disappeared up the stairs. We assumed that they were going to his office.

I really hoped that he wasn't going to do anything to her.

"... I just now realized how hot she was."

  "BEN!"
---------------Timeskip-----------------
Brief Jack's POV

We had been waiting for about an hour. Whatever Slenderman was doing- I hoped it wasn't horrible- it was taking a long time. I got more and more anxious by the moment. People got bored and started doing other things. BEN played a four player video game with Hoodie, Masky, and Jeff. Splendorman, Smile, and Jane watched TV. A few others stood on the sidelines and talked. I was the only one completely losing my mind.

Smile trotted over to me, before his tail wagging slowed. He tilted his head. He could tell I was worried, and I just sat down. He curled up in my lap, and I started to pet him. Before long I was beginning to calm my nerves. The tension in the room seemed to lighten up with that.

I saw how calm people were, and sometimes people would look at me. Soon Splendorman approached.

"You must really like that girl, hm?" he asked.

  "Yeah. She's.. Nice." I said.

  He just smiled at me.

"Well I think that she's good for you." he said. Before I could ask him what he'd meant by that, he stood up straight and walked off. He went back to watching TV, not really paying attention to me anymore.

Soon there was the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. It was Slenderman. I jumped up, startling poor Smile. He yelped and moved away to safety. Slenderman Quieted the idle chattering, before finally speaking to us all.

"[Y/N] can stay the way she is now, under one condition."

"Y-Yes?" I was so nervous, yet extremely excited.

"She must never tell anyone where we reside. If she does.. Bad things will come of it. Remember child, she must keep us a secret." he said. I nodded.

"Also," he said. "You must protect her. That is all." Slenderman nodded himself and turned on his heel, walking back up the stairs. I sat there for another agonizing half hour or so, before even hearing the name [Y/N] float around.

I watched as [Y/N] came down the stairs. I got up and walked over to her. I met her in the middle, checking her. I wanted to make sure that she was okay. That nobody had hurt my [Y/N]. She gave me a strange look in response.

Your POV

I gave him that strange look because I didn't understand what he was doing. Was he worried? I couldn't see his face, but by the frantic moments, I could gather that he was probably bothered. I moved a hand to stop him, but he took it instead. He kept turning it over to check for marks. It was minutes before I got a single response. An explanation.

"What are you doing, Jack?" I asked. He stopped, looking at me.

"You.. Were in there for awhile." he said. "He didn't hurt you, did he?" he asked. I chuckled at that.

"Of course not! If he would have hurt me, I would've had to break out the sweet ninja moves." I said. I brushed off my shoulders with a prideful look. He grinned and swept me up into a hug. I couldn't help but to smile back at him, wrapping my arms around him in return. He rested his chin on my shoulder and sighed. He sounded content for a moment, before standing up straight again.

"What.. Did he say to you?" he asked me.

"Oh, just about if I really liked you, and if I was comfortable with all of this, blah blah."

"And what did you say?" he asked. I quirked an eyebrow.

"Well, I just said I was fine with it all."

"No, I mean..." he blushed. "About.. Me? And you?" he asked slowly. I realized what he was getting at, how unsure he sounded. I just gave him a smile.

"I said that I did like you. Love you, as a matter of fact!" I said confidently. I began to grin, before removing his mask right there. His face was as red as a firetruck, and that only added to my good mood. I leaned in slowly, and he did as well. His smile got even wider, and then I did it.

I pecked him on the cheek and walked off to get some air, grinning. That made him slightly annoyed, but he followed me anyways. The few people that were paying attention (AKA BEN) snickered. Jack was close to turning around and murdering BEN for many reasons, but he controlled himself.

He watched me stand outside, looking at the sunset. Er.. What I could see of it. He furrowed his eyebrows when he noticed me leaving the wooded area. Mask in hand, he walked on after me. He wondered what I was doing now. He followed me through the trees and out of the woods, where it was clear enough.

I sat on the strange hill. He then realized that this exit of the woods was opposite where my neighborhood was. Had.. I been here before? He watched me sit, and he walked up behind me. There he could see a large and beautiful lake. It glistened in the evening sunset, the remaining light shining off of it. The water rippled a bit, making the scene even more beautiful. Sure it was getting to be fall, and it was cold. That didn't stop me from smiling.

I remembered when my parents and I used to come to this lake with my brother. That was when he was still with us, when we were a happy and united family. That was during better times. I sighed as I remembered the picnics and cloud watching that went on here. I never thought that by the time this day came, I'd be sitting here.

I hadn't noticed that Jack had followed me.

"So.. How do you know about this place?" he asked, nearly startling me. I looked over at him. He was sitting in the grass along with me, breathing in the crisp air.

"Oh, my parents used to bring me here." I said.

"Did they? That's nice." he said.

  "Yeah."

There was a long pause before either of us said anything. I wasn't quite sure what to say, honestly. Things had been strange at first, but the whole day seemed to play out eventually. Everything seemed to fall into place in the end. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed that Jack was scooting closer to me. I felt him put an arm around me, I leaned my head on his shoulder, and we watched the sunset.

  Together.
Guess who updated quickly? And.. Was in a good mood? Yeah, this person!
I don't own you or any of the creepypastas mentioned above.
By the way, this is NOT the end. I just kind of thought that the ending to this part would be a sweet little thing to add. < 3
