Jack's POV

I couldn't do it. I had watched her sitting in her living room, watching some T.V show. I didn't have the confidence to go up to her and say anything, so I just watched her for awhile.

She looked so sad as she sat and watched her own stuff. It was as if the life had been sucked out of her momentarily. I wanted to comfort her, tell her how wonderful she was. I wanted to go up to her. I then remembered who had made her so sad, and I just wanted to rip them apart for that.

Your POV

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my parents screaming for me to come down this instant. I sat up with a tired expression, and knew that this was going to be bad. I stood up and walked out of my door, and down the steps. They yelled for me again, using my full name. They knew that's what I couldn't stand.

  "[Y/N]!"

"I'm coming!" I said. When I came into the room, they gave me the nastiest look that they could muster. My mother grabbed my arm and yanked me over, where they both showed me my report card. I looked it over and didn't understand what was so bad about it. I had gotten all A's and B's, except for- oh. I noticed the B- that I got in P.E. I closed my eyes and groaned audibly at the grade, and then I heard my mother say my name. I opened my eyes.

"Why?" she asked. She was the more impatient of the two.

"Remember when I missed a day?" I asked. "When you wouldn't take me to school, because you were busy arguing with dad?!"

"Yes, and that means that you should have walked!" my mom exclaimed. Wait- how was I supposed to get to school when it was about three miles from my house? Especially since I don't even like walking that far.

"I still don't understand how you got a B-!" my mother yelled. I raised my eyebrows and made a noise of frustration. I looked away, feeling my eyes beginning to sting from the potential tears. My mother then must have gotten frustrated with me, because I suddenly felt a sharp sting on my cheek. Tears fell like a waterfall, and I ran up to my room. I got ready as fast as possible, before grabbing my backpack and running through the front door.

All I could hear was the sound of my mother yelling that 'I hoped I didn't plan to go anywhere, because I wasn't leaving the house this coming weekend.'

-----------------------------------

I walked through the large front doors of the school. Everybody seemed to be talking about the same things, because I could catch a few select words. Mostly "killed", "those bullies", "eyeless man", and "still around". That made me curious, so I decided to ask Bobbi soon.

"What do you mean you haven't heard about it?!" Bobbi asked me. "On the news, it said that there was this eyeless man who went to some teenagers' houses, and killed them! Dude, those were totally those school bullies that you're always trying to stand up to! It showed their pictures and everything! The news said the man could still be around, so we have to be careful."

Bobbi went on and on about how the man killed them in a specific order. I kind of tuned Bobbi out, but then began to listen as the last part came.

"And the strange part is, they found this at the scene of every crime." Bobbi said, handing me a printed out photo. I took a look at it and gasped.

I promised I'd protect her, it said.

"Who is 'her'? And what's he even protecting her from? I kinda don't understand what he's trying to protect this girl from, but hey. He's probably some delusional guy who escaped from some asylum nearby," Bobbi finished. I stared at Bobbi, but the words didn't seem to be coming through to the part of my brain that registered what Bobbi was actually saying. No no, I was too preoccupied with the photo I now held in my hand.

"Can I, uh.. Keep this?" I asked. Bobbi gave me a weird look, but nodded.

"Yeah, what fo- Hey! Where are you going?!" Bobbi yelled after me.

"I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow!" I said. Bobbi just gave me a slight nod, before turning away. I ran down the halls to hopefully get to my locker. I had to get that note again. I just had to check if my suspicions were right; if I was actually looking at the same handwriting.

I noticed another note, and it was clear as day. I knew who did it.

--------------------------

  Jack's POV

[Y/N]'s parents were gone again, with not so much as a single explanation. Tonight I was going to reveal myself to her, and maybe all of my dreams would come true. This strange feeling I got whenever I was around her, yes. It was love. The purest, most passionate love I'd ever felt. All I needed was to know that these passions were returned. I would be at peace with that final thought.

I heard the door open downstairs, and scrambled to find a place to hide. After all, she couldn't know that I was here just yet. No, it had to be something subtle. I heard her walk into her room, and I went downstairs. I would have to wait until dark. It would be harder for anyone to spot me then. I hid in the tree next to her window.

Your POV

I decided to call Sherry and tell her about everything. Well, maybe not everything.

Then I saw the note laying on the floor of my room.

Jack's POV

She noticed it! Oh goodness, she actually noticed it! I have to admit that I could remember every word I'd written on that piece of paper. I think that it sums up my truest love for her.

I watched her as she ripped the envelope open. She stared at the letter for awhile, before letting it drop. It fluttered down like a feather. She finally burst out crying, but I couldn't be sure if it was out of happiness or sadness. This unsure knot that formed in my stomach made me uneasy. What if she didn't like it? What if [Y/N] didn't feel the same way about me as I did her?

I watched her shaking form sit up. She stood up and walked downstairs, before coming back a few minutes later. She had a dark object in her hand. Her hand shook as she brought it closer to her face. Oh dear, what was that? Was she- was she doing what I thought she was doing?!

She put it up to the side of her head. It was the house phone. She waited a few seconds before she completely lost it. She crumbled to the ground, before speaking into the phone with a distressed tone. She paused before sniffling and nodding. She explained it. Everything. She explained the notes, and how the notes were... Keeping her here. Those notes- my notes have been the source of her happiness, and her sadness.

Oh dear [Y/N], I wanted to tell her. It'll be okay. I love you.

I decided that it was time for me to reveal myself to her, and then I heard the car door slam shut. Oh no.
I don't own any of the creepypastas mentioned, nor do I own you!
